Sports Department
The sports facilities on St Raphael’s campus support the physical education programme within the centre. These include: swimming pool, fitness room, Bocce room, and sports hall for basketball, soccer, motor activities and other sports.
Swimming
There is an 18 metre indoor swimming pool in St Raphael's campus. This is timetabled for use during the week for hyrdotherapy and swimming lessons for the service users in St Raphael's.
Outside of these hours swimming lessons are available to various groups including the North Star Swimming Club.

Welcome to our website
Saint John of God Liffey Region provides a range of services for approximately 850 children and adults with intellectual disability. The region was formerly two seperate services - St John of God Kildare Services and St John of God Menni Services, which merged in 2014.
The Liffey Region currently provides services in North Kildare and South West Dublin.
Our aim is to support and empower people with intellectual disability to be active participants in the community in which they live. We work in partnership with individuals and families to support people to achieve their goals and focus on valued roles within the community.

Congratulations to Qualifiers for the Special Olympics
The St Raphael's Sport and Recreation Department would like to congratulate the following athletes on their selection to represent Eastern Region at the Special Olympic Ireland Games from 12-15 June 2014 in Limerick.
Training for all events has been under way since early in the year. Good Luck to everyone taking part
