School Board of Management
The School Board of Management is responsible for the direct governance of the school and the appointment of teachers and other staff, subject to the Minister of Education's approval and in accordance with the polices, procedures and circulars of the Department for Education and Skills.
The Board of Management meets at least once per term. Additional meetings are arranged if necessary.
The Board consists of:
- Two direct nominees of the Patron
- Two parents of children enrolled in the school (one mother and one father), elected by the general body of parents of the children enrolled in the school
- The School Principal
- One other teacher on the staff of the school elected by the teaching staff
- Two extra members proposed from those nominees
All policies can be viewed on request in the school office.
