St Raphael's School Recieves the National Flag
On Thursday 1 October 2015 we had a lovely ceremony in the front of the school. The whole school and many parents were present when we received an Irish Flag and a copy of the 1916 Proclamation as part of Ireland’s Centenary Programme to commemorate the 1916 Rising. The 1916 Proclamation was read out by members of Óglaigh na hÉireann and one of our pupils used sign language to convey this.
